Our lawn care specialists work Monday-Thursday for 10-hour shifts starting at 7:00 am (depending upon the season) and ending around 5:30 or when the job is complete. Starting pay is $20-26 per hour, or a Production Pay option is available. We provide transportation to the job site from our shop. You must enjoy working outside and be comfortable working with chemicals. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to diagnosing insect, plant disease, and weed issues, applying pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers, maintaining application records, performing equipment maintenance and calibration, mixing fertilizers and control products, upholding safety standards, and building friendly relationships with homeowners, property visitors, and the public at large. Job requirements include: Comfortable working with fertilizer and pesticide chemicals Availability to work variable hours which may include weekends and overtime Ability to perform physical work in various weather conditions outside Legal authorization to work in the United States Reliable transportation to the shop Valid driver's license (CDL a plus, but not required) Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and walk long distances One year of previous Lawn Care experience preferred Pesticide license 3.0
